Gimme Some Sugar is a boutique cake studio that specializes in unique, original custom cakes for any and all occasions. Our couture designs are inspired by the glitz & glamour of Las Vegas and break tradition- with edgy shapes, whimsical detailing, and over the top embellishments. Each creation is baked from scratch and designed especially for each client.

In addition to cakes, we also create signature cupcakes, cookies, cakelets, and all new petite sweets.

Sweet Creation

Gimme Some Sugar is the sweet creation of two best friends, Kristen and Ashley. After college they went their separate ways. Kristen graduated from Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Or. in 2005 and moved to Las Vegas to pursue her career in Pastry. While working in the pastry shop of a couple major hotels, she began decorating cakes on the side. Ashley graduated from Western Oregon University in 2006 and moved to Arizona to pursue her career in sports business.

After a weekend vacation in California, and while complaining about their jobs, they started crazy talk of starting their own business someday. Combining their talents, it would be a bakery of some sort.

While all this “crazy talk” was going on, Kristen met Miranda, an extremely fabulous and talented cake decorator. In addition to becoming the best of friends, they soon realized they would make a fabulous duo in the world of cake design. Kristen has a whimsical, girly, glittery style, while Miranda has a more retro, vintage approach to cake design.

Through their complimentary styles, creative vision and absolute love of cake design, Gimme Some Sugar was created.
